DioShock Tablets Instructions
DioShock tablets are a Sodium Chlorite and Inorganic Salts blend, which self-activate in contact with water to form Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
- Establish the required number of DioShock Tabs to treat the incident. Refer to the Dosage Rate below for Shock Treatment (1ppm) or Super Chlorination (0.4ppm).
- Isolate Probes (same method as for 20ppm chlorination).
- To apply the DioShock Tabs, tear the vacuum foil and drop the DioShock Tablet into the pool. The tablets will begin to fizz immediately when they contact the water.
- Wearing the appropriate PPE (rubber gloves, safety glasses, an approved mask, and protective clothing), dose the required number of DioShock Tabs.
- After applying the correct number of DioShock Tabs, wait 70 minutes and take a Chlorine Dioxide reading using an approved method.
- Check pH and, when within range, open probes again.
- Once the yellow color has left the water (usually 2-3 hours) and the Chlorine Dioxide test has been carried out, swimmers can return to the pool.

PLEASE NOTE: Pool covers should be removed prior to and during treatment and remain off for a minimum of 12 hours. Ensure that the pool area is well ventilated during and after treatment.
